Mindy joined Shinberg in March of 2015, coming to the agency already licensed in Life and with almost a year of experience in the insurance industry. She quickly acquired her Property & Casualty license and is currently working towards obtaining her CIC designation as well. After working several customer services positions, Mindy has gained a lot of office experience and computer knowledge. She has also developed a strong background in communication and building personal relationships with her clients. “The bond you create with people when it comes to protecting their lives and the families is just so strong; it feels great to do something where you know you’re really helping people!”
On top of working at Shinberg, Mindy still pursues her lifelong passion of photography, for which she is currently attending Lansing Community College for finish her degree. In her spare time, she also loves to play piano, travel and paint. Mindy is also Shinberg’s website designer, in addition to maintaining all their social media sites.
Nicole joined Shinberg in February of 2015 and quickly obtained her license in both Property & Casualty and Life. Prior to Shinberg, Nicole worked with multiple companies that provided her with the ability to gain great customer services skills. Along with working at Shinberg, Nicole is also a student at Lansing Community College working towards her General Associates degree.

Rachel joined Shinberg in October of 2016 with over 5 years experience as a Personal Lines Agent and is currently working on becoming licensed in Life. Coming from a strong background in community service, she was thrilled to join Shinberg and get the opportunity to work one on one with clients to help review their security and protection needs. “I love the opportunity to help people feel confident about protecting their current and future assets.”
Outside of her work life, Rachel stays involved in the community as the webmaster for the Friends of the Okemos Library. In addition to lazy days on the pontoon boat in northern Michigan, she has traveled around the world enjoying sailing, white water rafting, snorkeling and scuba diving.
Jeannie joined Shinberg in November of 2011 and is currently working in the Employee Benefits department. She is licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health. Earlier in life, Jeannie got her associate’s degree in Industrial Supervision and prior to Shinberg, she worked as a supervisor at GM for 16 years, providing her with great management skills.
